Stay with us.

Our three canvas bell tents are located in ancient woodland meadows just a short walk from the farm house - off grid camping with all the comforts.

Completely immersed in nature, you are surrounded by flora and fauna and the natural beauty that this pocket of rural Kent has to offer - fall asleep to the sweet song of nightingales and the calls of courting owls, then wake up and spy a deer or two browsing the meadows in the early morning light.

The bell tents are kitted out with everything you should need for a supremely comfortable stay. Each has it’s own woodburning stove, so you will never be chilly - even in our English summertime!

We have two 5m bell tents which sleep three (1x double and 1x optional fold-out single bed) and one 4m bell tent with twin single beds - perfect for adults or older children. For an additional charge there is possibility for an extra camp bed to be added to each tent, we also have one travel cot. All the beds are dressed in fine cotton linens and woollen blankets.

For cooking there is a fully equipped camp kitchen with a gas stove and a large cool box. A selection of enamelware crockery, cutlery, glassware and basic cooking utensils. Oil, salt, pepper and tea bags are provided.

A brick fire pit outside with a tripod barbecue for alfresco suppers and a table with benches and directors chairs for outdoor relaxing and dining.

There is a purpose built, long drop loo and an outdoor, heated shower - both completely off grid. There’s an outdoor tap and sink for washing up too.

Fresh eggs are available from the farm as well as freshly roasted and ground coffee - courtesy of our resident coffee roasters; COLDBLOW coffee.

“Wow we had a fabulous time, off the beaten track. Wonderful little touches and secluded from others.
This is definitely the only way to camp gorgeous bedding and an amazingly equipped kitchen. Great for the children no mention of iPads or electronics just back to basics playing in the outdoors and exploring. Lots to do in the surroundings, castles, steam trains, beaches, cute villages and country pubs.”

We (myself and husband + brother with family, including 2 young kids) had an absolutely wonderful time at Spot House Farm. The setting is idyllic and Gemma has done a wonderful job putting the glamping site together.

We had everything we needed: well-equipped kitchen, beautifully decorated tents with comfortable beds and linen, my 7-year old nephew even thought the long-drop loo was cosy ;-). We all just loved being ‘back-to-nature’, fully accepting that this was luxury by camping standards. Warmly recommend!

“Wow, where do I start. This place is absolutely magical. Beautiful setting in the gorgeous Kent country side. A completely private field just for the accommodation. The bell tents were stunning and immaculately clean, with more than we were expecting being provided e.g. fresh towels, ice packs, fresh eggs etc. Honestly couldn’t recommend this stay enough. 11/10.”

We were blown away by the chic aesthetic of the tents and kitchen. It was even better than the pictures. Every element had been thought about and despite crazy weather for August, we were comfortable and cosy. The best thing about our stay was Gemma's responsiveness and help. She was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We'll be recommending the stay to family and friends. Thank you! X

“Past a picturesque pond riddled with tadpoles, down paths mown through waist-high wild flowers is Spot House Farm - one of those places you want to share with everyone and no one …

We spent two nights in this magical, unspoilt meadow on the edge of an ancient woodland enjoying the most thoughtful and stylish touches: merino blankets on the giant beds, natural soap on the dressing table, a supply of locally-roasted coffee and farm-fresh eggs and a beautiful, entirely plastic-free outdoor kitchen.

There also a choice of gorgeous day trips (Camber Sands; Tenterden; Dungeness), making this the most bucolic base for exploring the Kent/East Sussex border.

Oh, and there’s a resident nightingale that might sing you to sleep. Such a special, secret site. Thank you.”
